About Me

My name is Paul Lea, and I'm originally from Dallas, TX. I study Physics and Economics. When I'm not studying, I enjoy learning about various topics, backpacking, coffee, and working on my car.

Education

I studied Physics and Economics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Upstate NY. In the spring of 2025, I studied at University College London in the United Kingdom. Now, I'm working towards my master's back at RPI.

I enjoy teaching physics concepts at an approachable level — one of my ongoing projects is a free collection of notes covering various physics courses.

I'm actively engaged in research in higher education through my masters degree, as well as an upcoming SULI appointment at ANL. My background is primarily in experimental optical physics, molecular spectroscopy, and accelerator sciences.
